With an idea to enhance opportunities for students from Ladakh, the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh in collaboration with IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur, is creating opportunities for students who are currently pursuing a undergraduate level course in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects, to learn through internship programmes and masters level programmes at the three IITs..
Specifically, the following opportunities are being offered:
- Short-term Internships for undergraduate students (1.5 – 2 months duration)
- Long-term Internships for undergraduate students (6 months duration)
- Sponsored M. Tech. programmes (2 years duration)
Students who are interested to apply for this programme, as per eligibility criteria below, are strongly encouraged to follow the process outlined below to avail of this unique opportunity :
